About KONE Bangladesh Distributor | TGBD PRIVATE Limited :
TGBD Private LTD was established IN 1948 as a trading company in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Throughout our history, we have acted as the sole agent and distributor for a variety of reputed multi-national companies, among which are NOVARTIS (for Ovaltine Chocolate Malted Drink), INGERSOLL RAND (for Air Compressors), LARSEN & TOUBRO (for Petrol Pumps), ALLERGAN (for Eye-Care Medicine), and so forth. In the early 1980s, TGBD Private LTD became the agent and distributor for FIAM brand lifts (from Italy). Following the subsequent acquisition of FIAM by KONE. TGBD has since been working in Bangladesh as KONE’s authorized agent and distributor. Now as TGBD Private Limited, We are one of the best elevator companies in Bangladesh.
About FIAM | KONE’s subsidiary brand :
KONE was first introduced to Bangladesh under the FIAM lift brand name (manufactured by KONE Finland, shipment from KONE Italy). Our proud history with FIAM in Bangladesh goes back more than 30 years.
Some of our FIAM brand LIFTS are still running in many parts of Dhaka including Gulshan and Banani, such as:
- Iqbal Center, Banani – installed in 1992
- Charukunja Apartments, Gulshan Avenue – installed in 1998
These LIFTS are still running after more than 20 to 25 years of usage, a huge indication of the quality of KONE’s engineering feats.
